Default Endless Pier

Endless pier

I really like how this picture turned out. Is the fact that the perspective leads you to the center of the photo a problem here? If so, what could I have done to capture it better?

Nikon D40
1/320
f/9.0
18mm
ISO 200
No flash

The perspective leading the eye towards the center of the photo is not a problem, it actually contrasts nicely with the off balance feeling you gave it by putting the boy off center to the left. I like the colors and feel of the image, and you made good use of foreground and background subjects that play off of each other.

The only thing I'd like to see is the sign that the boy is reading, or else completely crop it out so that we're not left wondering what it says.

I like this one! Did 18mm give you that endless appearance to the pier, or does it really go half way around the world?

That's what I was wondering as well. Great shot though.
