Default Hong Kong walk of stars at night

Hong Kong night shot vertical

1.6 seconds
f/11
ISO 800
17-85mm at 17
Canon XT Rebel

Horizontal and Vertical compositions of "walk of stars" along Hong Kong harbor (Kowloon side) with lasers taken from a bridge. My question is which composition is more appealing? (Maybe this breaks the rules of this forum for posting 2 shots). I used high ISO as also I tried 30 seconds and seemed like too bright a shot.

Hi jcore,

This is a nice image. I like the reflections and the blurred people. Good job.

Yep. This kind of question should be posted in the comparison section.

I like the vertical on better. I think that I would like the horizontal on better if it showed more of the reflections on the water. I know that you are trying to show the lasers, but I don't think they are the most engaging thing in the frame. The truth is that I didn't even notice them until I read your comment. I'd like to see more of the bay and less of Starbucks.
