Default Chicago at Night

This is Buckingham fountain at night with part of the Chicago skyline in the background. It was a windy night, as you from the spray of the fountain. It also was pretty empty not too many people to get in the way of the shot.

Larger size

info:
6s | f/3.5 | 11mm | 100 ISO

Again, taken with my Tokina 11-16mm set up on a tripod.

Should I crop some of the sky, or some of the bottom, or just leave it as is? I kinda like it the way it is.
I'm not sure if some of the buildings are too bright. But it was hard to get the color in the fountain to come on because I couldn't figure out the timing on them.

The green blur is from a little kid who had a glow stick and walked accross frame. I was worried when I saw them but I think it turned out pretty ace.

Hi Lord Xeon,

Wow! Another nice image!

If you like it the way it is, then I say leave it the way that it is.

However, the great thing about digital is that it doesn't cost anything to make multiple images. Try playing around with different crops, both horizontal and vertical. Maybe you'll find something you like better. Personally. I would crop from the right a little bit. The skyline kind of ends on the right, but the image keeps going. It looks like there is a building there but it is blocked by the trees. It's kind of making a whole in the skyline. If it were my image, I would get rid that.

Good job again.
