Obviously the sky is completely blown out (no wonder) so you might want to rearrange your composition to avoid the sky at all or you use a gradient lens filter.
Since I can't get my Exif plugin to work with your flickr settings and don't have any infos on the shot data I'm just guessing but you might want to increase the exposer time to get rid of the bubbles on the water in the foreground. And if you feel like it, next time take out the stick as well, it sort of draws attention without adding to the picture itself.

For your first shot I think it turned out very well. The water looks graet and I like the stick. Makes it look more natural.

Hi! Please post your EXIF data as it will help us a lot to know what your camera settings were when you took the shot. Also, take a look at the forum rules for better understanding of how to post in the critique section.

I agree that the sky is too blown out. I can't tell for sure from the little bit of sky that is shown but it appears that it was an overcast day. This is actually really good for waterfall pictures as the clouds act like a diffuser and make the lighting very even. But when the sky is overcast it is usually best to compose the image so the sky isn't in there.

Interested to see your EXIF data.
