Default Gazebo in the water

This shot was taken in Foster City, CA near San Francisco at around 11pm on a night with a full moon. I grew up going fishing on this gazebo with my grandparents, but I always went during the daytime. This was the first time I had seen it at night, and I'm very happy with the results. The only regret I have is that I should have also taken a few shots with a smaller aperture and long shutter to get a starburst from the lights in the background.

Foster City Gazebo

Shot with a Canon XT
Sigma 28.0-70.0 mm lens
191 second exposure
f/8.0
No flash
Ambient light came from the lights behind me on a walkway.

I think it looks awesome, except for whatever is showing on the bottom right. Is there anyway that you could have moved your position so that would not have been included?

Yeah it's a fence line right there. I didn't like that either. It's basically a line of wooden posts with chains hanging between them.

This is the same spot with a different angle so you can see what that thing was. I should have taken another step to the left to get away from that post. Totally didn't even see that when I was composing the picture.

in the first photo, i agree about the post showing on the right...but i love that you can see the stars in the night sky....they are faint, wish they could show up more, but i really like them.....in the second photo, i like the walk-way and barrier included....very nice.....
