Hey everybody this is my first post on here. New to photography. Give me some tips about lighting..I love this photo but I always look at it like there is something missing?

Hi and welcome.
Im fairly new myself, but i will give you 2 cents worth. I quite like your shot. It looks like you may have taken it around midday? I was just looking at the shadows. I usually try to avoid midday. I prefer early or late. Take lots of photo's. Post some on here for feedback. There are alot of people here with alot of information to share. Good luck. |

I think one of the first things new phtographers need to learn is to be judicious with their cropping. At the bottom of your image is a part of a wall and something else that looks like it might be a part of a car; get rid of it. At the top of your image is a bit more sky than you really need; keep the cloud, but most of the blue above it can go. Now you have something that looks a bit more like a panorama and the composition gains a bit more clout.
