Default Bodiam Castle

Hey guys

If i were to reshoot or edit this image, how would i best go about it? What improvements should or could i make to this?

I vote for a frontal portrait shot, with the bridge leading you into the shot.
Or from the same angle just have a tighter crop. no land . just water and castle and whatever is in the background.

Mwanafunzi has some good points -
but IMO try doing it at a different time of day - maybe sunset so you get the pinks and purples and you will be able to expose longer to smooth out the water and reflect the sky, which in turn gets rid of the green ripply water, and the over exposure in the clouds..

seconded, and it might add a little more drama and texture if the individual shadow of the bricks were hitting at a different angle.

and uhm,(like mwanafunzi said) id take out the plants/foreground, kind of distracts me from the epic castle, or maybe even try it in black and white. cheers!
