Default Another Eiffel Tower shot

Bonjour!

Found this shot taken a while back with my ol' point and shoot and processed it up a bit. Not sure if the trees are distracting or not - I think and hope the tower grabs the eye before the trees. In any case, general comments welcome. TIA.

Why are you not sure if the trees are distracting? Cover them and the fence with a piece of paper, and then look at the picture.

Well I kind of like them, but I'm just one person.

Hey not bad~! B/W gives a blending effect with the trees.. Mind sharing the shutter speed, ISO and F stop?

1/320, F/8, ISO 100. Just a little Fuji point and shoot, the original shot is fairly unremarkable. Photoshop owns.

I like the trees...it gives it a feel that it's actually in a park...not just this huge tower in the middle of nowhere.

i am not liking the tree towards the fence. But as Brittany commented the tree on the left and the fence does give it a feeling of the tower being in a park.Try to get rid of the smaller tree.I feel its actually taking away a bit from the tower
