Default London - different perspective of the Thames, Millenium Bridge and St Paul's

Hello all

Just looking for an overall critique - composition, colour balance, clarity, sharpness etc. What could I have done differently?

Thanks!

Cool shot! I like it a lot. I think the shot would be even more eye-catching if you framed the shot so that the "Capital Building" was in the upper-left 1/3 and so the river composed the lower 1/3 foreground. The river would add that extra piece needed to make your shot go from nice to great! Plus, you have the added value of the river giving movement to the image as well. Always a plus.

Thanks Leviathan, very useful feedback! Perhaps less sky and more river would have worked better...

FYI that's St Paul's cathedral in London...

yes, my thoughts too before I read the posts.....I would reduce the sky alot especially given the time of day and lack of dramatic clouds.....since the the city skyline is your emphasis, I would have the break between the sky and the bldgs running along the upper 1/3 horizontal line rather than 1/2 way
