I think I would have sacrificed some shutter speed for greater DOF and a slightly better exposure. As it is the image is slightly overexposed (notice how the little wheat seeds have lost all detail) Shoot this same image at f22 at 250th of a second and you would have picked up tons of DOF without losing the wonderful color contrast between the wheat and the blue water.
