Default I must down to the sea again

Yet another B&W, straightened, enhanced and generally sorted out in Photoshop.

For some reason EXIF doesn't show shutter speed, sorry.

Comments/critique welcome

I like it… but there's not a huge contrast range so the sky and sea seem to blend together.

That's what I thought...I did play around with those two. I want to keep the dark sky for the mood. But if I adjust the sea to be lighter it loses contrast with the beach. In the end I left it like this - I think the relatively sharp delineation on the right hand side of the horizon helps a bit.

I know you want to keep the dark sky, but personally, you can achieve the same effect with a high contrast.

Just for my 2 cents, this is what I'd do. I've changed both the levels of the sky and the sea seperately.

Yeah, I do have them masked separately. See, your tweak has the same problem I had - increase sea/sky contrast, decrease sea/beach contrast. I might try compositing a different sky in; I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve yet! Thanks for the input.
