Love the colour, the contrast, the texture.the moodiness.
Also love the sense it protrays of the mystery of the people who are strolling along the golden sands heading into who knows what awaitis them in the shadow. The only critque i can offer is the large portion in the middle of the image where it is overexposed and 'burnt' and is a big patch of white in the middle of the image. doesn't distract from the emotion of the image though... Great capture |

Thanks for your feedback. I agree that the middle part of the image is overexposed. My mother kept staring at it wondering where the beach ends and the water begins. I didn't have my camera that day and took my husbands off his shoulder to use his. Since I didn't know how to use it in manual mode, I just shot it as is. I think if I had my current camera (Canon EOS 450D) I would have paid more attention to exposure.
@ windrider86: Sorry for the large format. I am just becoming accustomed to this site. Already took me a while to figure out how to upload it :-). I will be careful next time to choose a smaller version. I think I know how now. |
