Wow! Nice image. I love RMNP. I envy you that you were there. Quote:
If this were my image, I would do two things to improve it. First, I would straighten the horizon line. It is leaning to the right. Second, I would crop out the foreground. I would crop out about 25% of the bottom of the image, starting just below the end of the tree on the right side. Of course, you would lose the ripple on the water and most of the nice reflection of the tree on the water, but I think that it would help focus the image on (what to my mind is) the subject of the image: the interesting shaped tree in the background. Of course, these are just my ideas. Either way, this is a nice image. Well done. KG |

I agree...the suggested crop would make this shot much more appealing. As it is, the aspect ratio seems a little odd for a landscape shot, and I don't think the bottom of the picture really adds much...give it a try.
