Question A photo with no subject...

I usually don't go for photos without a subject, and this one I took I guess is no exception. My wife loves it, as do some of her friends. More so than other photos I've taken that I think are really good. I tried to at least make it somewhat interesting by composing it so the "row" of white flowers sort of cuts across the image, so at least it has some bit of interesting composition.

Anyway, what do you think? Just another shot of a field of flowers? Or something decent? Be honest. I don't mind if you say "eh, does nothing for me."

This is a beautiful picture, but it would say more if you got a eye-to-eye or looking up advantage with some sky. The white mixed with the purple definitely makes this picture worth looking at. I think if it were only purple, it would do nothing for me. I commend you on this one though, because it's definitely gorgeous. I wouldn't tell you not to frame it :-)

Your title is incorrect. Your photo definitely has a subject. It is the color, texture, and pattern that you intended to capture.

Honestly, it feels messy and chaotic. With no clear focal point in the photo, my eyes wander all over the place. But it's such a beautiful field, there's definitely potential for a great shot somewhere.
