Default mount mayon by the sea

this is one of my first shots on a DSLR.
i wish to solicit constructive criticisms and comments that i wanted to improve more my photo shoots. btw i'm new in field of photography.

wow... that's beautifully taken!
perhaps trim a little off the bottom, just to bring the water level line down towards the thirds proportion a bit - there's a bit too much 'dark' at the bottom for balance.

that's also what i am thinking, applying the rule of thirds. thanks for the comments.

you certainly can't improve on the colors they are great, also love the reflection of the lights in the water, trimming as suggested is the only thing I can see.

tnx a lot joe. suggestions noted. there's really no much detail on the lower part and quite dark that it will be just be fine to trim that area.
