Default Overdone Part II

Original Post HERE

Based upon suggestion I've done two final edits.
This one is desaturated quite a bit in the blues....I must have my Jpeg recording settings cranked up quite a bit....don't know since I never use it (except when I forget to reset to RAW like this time )

_SK10923-Edit-2.jpg

Exif hasn't changed but I'll include it anyways to meet the requirements:
Camera Nikon D3
Exposure 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture f/22.0
Focal Length 12 mm
ISO Speed 200
Exposure Bias 0 EV

And here is a B/W version as suggested.

In some ways I prefer the B/W version....but I'm kinda torn; I feel like it looses "context".
So, which do you think works best out of all of them? (to convey action/violence of the rapids)

I agree with the loss of context in the B/W. Personally, I like the water of the first shot best, it has more character. But I feel like the sky needs to be somewhere between the first and the third attempt, more blue than the third yet less processed than the first. Just my two cents.

Of all of them, I like this color shot the best. It's the most natural and realistic version which helps me feel like I'm there with the rushing water. I think you've done a good job contrasting the calm peaceful backdrop with the rushing chaotic water.
