Default Ocean Park

I have bought a new camera since this photo was taken. I would very much appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks so much for taking time to view this photo..

Please provide us the EXIF data on this shot and any other info that will give us information to assist you with the image. Please read the posting guidelines in the above sticky.

EXIF data contains shutter speed, ISO, aperture, focal length. You can find this data im any image editing software. Even the software that came with your camera

Hi lindystearns,

I think that this is a pretty good attempt and that you have a good eye for visual details. The diagonal line of the shore and the curve of the white rocks are quite appealing.

Speaking in general, landscape photography is best at the beginning and the end of the day. I guess that you took this photo in the middle of the day and the light is too harsh at that time. I think this image would be better if it were taken just after sunrise or just before sunset. There would be more interesting shadows and more golden colors.

If this location is somewhere that you can get to easily, you might try taking the image again at a different time of day.
