Default Tractor in the Country and Blue Sky

Hi All,
I'm a new photographer and took this picture in fulfillment of a class. I like it but I feel like something is a little off and I can't figure out exactly what it is.

It was taken with my Canon EOS
1/250
f/22
ISO 100

If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!!

My 2 cents is that I'd prefer the tractor slightly positioned to the right so that it fits the rule of thirds better, and that you fix the horizon tilt. You might also consider showing the side of the tractor instead of the front for more detail.

Otherwise, it's a nice and relaxing photo. Love the clouds and sky.

It is a nice & relaxing photo but perhaps a little boring. A few suggestions:
- Shoot from a lower point of view - kneel or lie down which will help 'lift' the tractor and make it more of a feature
- Alter your proportions within the image - try not to have the horizon on or near the middle of the frame (this image would probably be better with less grass & more sky)
- Shoot earlier or later in the day - a lower angle of (sun)light would add more interest.

Actually I don't mind the tractor being so close to the edge of the frame - the fact that the wheels are turned in helps create a circle of viewing that makes the viewers eye go around the frame & back to the tractor.

The small aperture worked well for this photo. I would have taken the photo with the tractor a little bit zoomed out and a bit more on the right and form a lower angle. I would have taken the image showing the side of the tractor to show its prominent features. A polarizing filter would help in making the skies bluer but PP would do just the same. A sunrise or sunset shot with this i mind would be more dramatic and elegantly colorful.

A polarizer would have boosted the colors and made the sky more dramatic, if you like that.

Nice shot and nice idea. I like it, and with it a little tweaking I think it could really pop. Right now the horizon kind of splits the image in half, so I would crop the bottom of the image such that the ground composes the bottom third of the image. And then, like others have mentioned, boosting the saturation and contrast would be helpful.

Another thought. Do you live close to this tractor such that you can shoot it again? If so, this might look really nice early in the morning or at sunset.

Nice shot.
To me it's a bit off balance, there is too much sky and grass drawing too much attention away from the tractor, particularly because the tractor is a bit underexposed. I'm ok with the horizon being slightly tilted since the tractor roof is level.
I did a crop, shadow/highlight, and vibrance/saturation adjustments to get this: I think the composition would still benefit from the tractor being a bit more to the right.
