Hi! Do you have a specific question? Check out the forum rules. Without a specific question, we don't know what to critique. If you are interested in simply sharing the shot, feel free to post them in the "SOS" sections of the forum. The critique section is for getting help on specifics in order to make our photography better. Thanks!

Sorry, yes, my specific question: Is the saturation of the photo just right, or too excessive?

It's a beautiful composition but personally I would say it's a bit oversaturated. It looks a bit cartoonish (or "HDR-ish" if you like) as well.
I like color but I also like natural. What makes the image appear a bit cartoonish is the lack of shadows and the un-natural vignetting around the perimeter. You don't really see this in nature. It's more like a highly saturated oil painting. What we you going for?

Wanted to convey a painting like mood, which i guess came out a bit oversaturated. Like HDR? A normal setting would have looked less dramatic to me.

It definitely looks HDR-ish. Nothing wrong with that. HDR is a great tool and it's created a whole new "genre" of art. Some are fantastic! But I'll have to admit that I'm one of those that usually prefers HDR be used sparingly and for what it was originally intended...to increase the dynamic range of an image until it looks more like what we see with our eyes...and no more. To me, this really makes an image "pop" (just don't like it so much when it "explodes"
).Just for comparison, could you post the normal setting shot?
