I tooke this picture in Jbeil, a city well known for it's "old souk" (a market in the ancient streets of the city).
What do you think about the composition and exposure?

I really like this picture.

I love how the eye is lead in to the distance not only by the arch of the trees, but also by the gutter in the path.

Love the level the camera is shot from too.

First off, I would like to say it is a very well composed image. I like photos like this with nice leading lines, and a vanishing point.
My only pick with it is... Well, two things. The first is the blur. It looks like you had a little camera shake happening. Especially shooting at 1/8 sec. I am assuming you didn't use a tripod? Judging from the low angle i would say not, but i could be wrong. If you wanted, you could have ramped up the ISO to get a higher shutter speed so you could hand hold. It will introduce more noise, but since you converted to black and white, noise usually add to an image for me anyway.
The second thing is the contrast. It is a little too narrow for my taste. There is not enough pure black or pure white, which leads me back to your exposure. A faster shutter speed would have gotten some of the tones more in to the pure black range which would have added a little more contrast.

Hope this helps, and keep shooting!

well Luke, you were right i didn't use an tripod!
as for the higher ISO i was from noise since i didn't know that it didn't matter in black and white! (thanks for the tip)
as for the contrast, i'll try to fix it in PP (although i would have liked making it right when i tooke the picture)
thank you for taking the time to critique my shot!
