Hey there
,I'd like to present you another picture. It has the title "wallflower" and it's a metaphorical one. Can you tell me if I used the right aperture? Maybe another angle? Every little hint/critique is welcome. ![]() EXIF-Data: Make: Canon Model: Canon EOS 450D Shutter Speed: 1/500 second Aperture: F/5.6 Focal Length: 39 mm ISO Speed: 100 Date Taken: Apr 24, 2010, 3:29:51 PM Thank you (: Last edited by maxe; 06-20-2010 at 08:51 AM. |

Hi,
I'm not sure exactly what you were trying to achieve but I find the huge expanse of blurred wall detracts rather than adds to the overall effect. If the wall were less blurred you'd at least be able to see some texture in the wall but for me all the very blurred area is wasted space. I've attached a shot I took of a flower on a wall during a holiday in Jersey. I'm not saying it's better than yours, just a different take on a similar subject. Happy snapping.
