Default Would like to get comments on one of my first HDR

This is one of my first HDR photos, where three shots with different exposures were taken and merged in HDR format using Photoshop.

This photo was taken on December 2008 at Kuala Lumpur

I would like to hear back all kind of comments that help me improve my skills.

Thanks in advance for your support.

I am not sure exactly what HDR is or does, but this pic seems to have a lot of light in it, not faded, just the kind that makes you squint Perhaps because the sky has so much white in it?

The main building in the photo is very beautiful, and I like that the lines lead your eye. But it would be nice to see more of it in focus. The further reaches of the shot are not very clear.

I think the photo might look better if we could see more of the older building without the new... Try panning to the right so that the clock tower is the furthest part on the left and we see more of the old building down the right side. Or can/should you just crop the pic on the left a bit? I'm not sure...

Anyway, that's what I think Just an opinion.. I did crop your photo :

There seems to be some focus issue where things lack a little clarity. Did you manually bracket the shots, or use the camera's built-in bracketing function? Were you using an aperture priority or manual mode and adjusting only the shutter speed? Did you lock the focus between shots?

As far as the post-processing goes, it might be a little heavy, IMHO. There are blue halos around the yellow street markings, for example, and white halos around the buildings where the sky meets the building edges.

I also think a little more elevation to bring in a bit more sky, a bit less road, and not chop the tips off the building on the right would be better.

It looks like a good spot, and with a few tweaks, I can see you getting some great images from there.
