Default Night Light

I wanted to work on some low light shots. This was taken shortly after the sun was completely down. Looking for some critique on the end result. Was the exposure too long, did I use the right white balance (daylight)? What ISO does one usually use for shots like this? Any and all comments appreciated. Thanks.

Good for starters...but i think you should wait till it's completly dark so u can capture the light

I don't know if you necessarily have to wait until it's completely dark to capture this photo. You should be able to do some PP adjustments here to make the remainder of the photo darker, but keep the glow of the lights fairly visible.

:-)

Nice scene... not too much drama in the sky as we would normally see in sunsets scenes. ISO settings at lowest as possible to avoid grain.., and 200 is just nice. Suggest a smaller aperture so that you can use a longer shutter speed, it will always get bettter looking effects..

I like the shot and the composition is nice. It would have looked better when its darker as pointed by tan2sie6.
