Nice. Very nice. Colours, texture -- wow. My immediate reaction is to take a quick couple of steps back to avoid getting my feet wet.

The top is very interesting -- my eye keeps getting draw to the colour of the sky and the parabola around the sun. In my very inexpert opinion it might be worth experimenting with this part of the picture to see whether any tweaks to saturation etc produce an even more striking image.

Great work though!

Nice shot. I agree with surprised, but my favorite part of the image is at the bottom, where the breakwater is coming in. The contrast in colors is what caught my eye.

I like this, the fact the sand is right in the foreground makes the water have a lot of impact (and those waves look HUGE!)

Nice use of the lines also.

I have one small criticim/observation and one recommendation, both of which you can discard if you wish

There appears to be some purple in the water, which is quite unnatural. It may have been a jpg conversion issue but I just wanted to ask. Maybe a white balance issue or pushing saturation too hard?

the 2nd point is that a grad would have made that sky a bit better. I appreciate you have a powershot tho, so this may not have been an option.

overall though, great shot and thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Hi. I like this photo a lot. Good textures, the white foam in the water is awsome. I just want to give my humble suggestion, and maybe would go for an angular framing, instead of shooting straight into the waves, maybe would have rotated the camera a bit giving a sense of deapth. Again, its just an opinion. The shot is great.
