Default Manhattan skyline from Long Island City

Manhattan skyline

Camera Canon EOS Rebel XSi
Shutter speed: 1/8 (with tripod)
Aperture: F20
ISO 100

This was taken about an hour after sunrise with the sun still low and hitting the buildings directly. Any comments would be appreciated. ?Too "postcardish"?

well dmartinc, i think you chose a great time to take the picture, as for the composition i really like the way the quay and the shore follow the same line.
It might look a little "postcardish" , but it will make a grat postcard!
it's a very nice picture!

I agree with PasChat's comments - a very nice picture indeed.

The colour does look a little odd to me though - I'm not quite sure what it is. Maybe a saturation increase is needed? And it would look more natural if you fixed the converging verticals - a program like PTLens can fix that.

Minor points really - well done!
