Default Moon Glow 3

I made a series of these red glowing moon shots last week on the Florida Gulf coast and I am looking for critique on both exposure and composition. Exposurewise, I had to keep it long so as not to burn out the moon... but even with a sturdy tripod, you still get a sense of ocean breezes that make both the water and foreground soft. Is that acceptable, given that the focal point is the moon. I felt it was, but would appreciate others' comments.

Also compositionally, I went with the seagrass as a foreground rather than just a straight beach foreground. Does that help add interest and context, or does it interfere?

Thanks in advance for your ideas and comments.

I don't think the seagrass shows well enough to be much of a factor. I suspect you would have been better off to simplify things by leaving it out. That being said, the moonrise is fabulous. I was watching the moon pretty closely last week, even got a pretty good shot out of the deal, but nothing as low or as orange as this. Good work.

Thanks Lee, for the feedback. Your shot is nicely composed! I really liked it.

I took a few others of the beautiful glow that appeared a few days ago. My smugmug gallery link is here:

The last two in this gallery were taken at a previous time, but the others were all taken near Seaside last week.
