I'm including a link for the guidelines to posting in the critique section. Please be sure to get familiar with them and include everything they ask for. Thanks so much for taking the time to look them over and edit your post!

Asking a specific question. Take a good look at your photo and decide what you want the most help with. Perhaps it composition or lighting. Maybe how to crop or process. Perhaps you may want to to know what camera settings would generate a better photo. Just examples

For me critique is a way to improve myself about the things i dont know and other people tell me about it. May be i think i got the perfect shot, but someone with more experience or/and knowledge will point out various mistakes. Im new here and i still dont know how this works. |

No worries, that's why I gave you some examples to go by

ColoradoBrit, i think its a great shot but besides it got some detail in the city, may be you could bring more detail in post production. Also i would like it more if you remove the white color on the horizon sky to bring the orange/yellow color more saturated.

Thanks for the feedback.
I was a little worried that is looked a little too saturated.. ![]() When shown a little larger to me it does look different, but i do possibly need to re-think post production in an effort to draw the viewer in more. I guess that i should have cropped more to make the sky more in proportion to the rest of the picture? I am always worried about the sun's rays being too bright and garish to show? Many thanks for your feedback and advice, Regards, Garry |

Hi ColoradoBrit.
They are beautiful colors and I personally don't find them too saturated. In fact I'd be inclined to richen and darken the orange colours a little. I do find however my eye is distracted by the light patches in the sky toward the top of the frame when the main subject is really the city skyline with the orange sunset? glow. I do realise your intention to show off the stormy sky, but try a strong panorama crop keeping only the bottem half of the frame. There is no single subject in the frame, rather this is a vista where one's eye will sweep from one side to the other - a panorama crop will stop the eye from wandering. Hope this helps. Remember a critique is still only one person's opinion! Carl.
