Default Evening Clouds

Hello Everyone

This is a picture of the clouds in the evening when the light from the setting sun is on them. It doesn't have a very clear focal point and is seems kind of dull and flat. But for some reason I like it and I think it maybe because it sort of captures the soft feeling that clouds like these have. Anyway, I am interested in suggestions for how I could better this technique.

From DPS

Camera: OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP.
Model: E-520
ISO: 100
Exposure: 1/200 sec
Aperture: 5.0
Focal Length: 90mm
Flash Used: No

Thanks

I am sure no expert, but the first question I would ask is what post processing are you doing on your photos?
I shoot most of the time in RAW mode, have to do slight adjustment to contrast, and hue/saturation and sometimes lighting. What photo editing software are you using?

Actually I didn't do any post processing. I didn't take the picture in raw mode. For the most part this is what the clouds looked like except I did take the picture in vivid color mode.
