Default Dreamy Cobblestone

This is a pictures of the cobblestone-y walkway in my backyard. I took this in the morning. Lemme know what you think of DOF, composition, exposure, editing, etc. Thanks =D

EXIF: 55mm, F/4.5, 1/200, ISO 800 (forgot to change ISO after last use... >.<), -0.7 exposure comp (again a mistake), Manual

Wow- lots of mistakes in exposure- I assure you I'm not too stupid haha

A path, especially a winding one, can be a strong compositional element but it has to come from and / or go to somewhere of interest. Here it does neither, moving from blurred foreground to overexposed distance. Additionally, you have framed closed to the edge of the path, losing the context of what it takes you through.

Can you stand further away, to get some context and also so that the path is still in focus where it meets the bottom edge of the frame?

First rule of photography: get the exposure right. This image has potential... but only if it is exposed properly.
