The picture overall is great (color, vibrance, exposure). You're right, the composition is off.
Although a landscape scenery is also wide and you are not sure where to put the focus. I'm not at the scene, but looks like you will be better off if you rotate your camera to put it in portrait mode (vertical instead of horizontal), because it will create a great scene of bright cloudy sky with green reflection with water, including the lush green grass. - The tree on the right is throwing off the balance of the picture, if you want to include the tree, you better off trim off the bottom of the tree, leaving only the middle portion, that would stop the feeling of tree leaning to the side and looking out of place. Only my opinion, hope that helps. |

also, for this particular scene, I think you will be better off if you zoom out to include more area in the picture instead of focusing on this narrow view, it would make a great difference in how the picture feels. You're not taking a picture of a narrow area, I am assuming you want to take picture of great scenery.
