Default Neighboring building

I was sitting in the balcony and saw the building across, I thought I will do some shooting. Here is the picture:

Night time

EXIF:
iso: 100
aperture: f/4
shutter speed: 4 secs
lens: 50mm
auto white balance
time of the day: 2130hrs
flash: did not fire
Tripod: used
PP: Lightroom and APE II

Specific questions:
1.) How is the exposure and composition?
2.) Is there anything I could improve more?

Thank you in advance.

Hi neoHUNTER,

This is a wonderful image. I love the color.

1.) How is the exposure and composition?

I think the exposure is fine. You managed to get nice rich color without any noticable noise which can be a problem with long exposures. You might want to play around with the white balance slider and see what you think. You've got a nice balance between the pinks and golds and the blue sky, but you might like the image more if you made the side of the vertaical building white, which would make the sky much, much bluer. I like it the way that it is, but it might be interesting to see. As for the composition, I think that is good, too.

2.) Is there anything I could improve more?

Just two things... I can see something, maybe part of another building, creeping into the frame on the right side. If this were my image, I would clone that out. Also, the tall building doesn't seem to be vertically straight. I don't know if that building is just tilted like that or if it is a case of lens distortion. Again, if it were my image, I would straighten it up in Photoshop.

I hope that answers your questions!

KG

Kansai I will take those on board. I will make some amendments in that image. Thanks for the suggestions.
