This is very cool, and I like this concept.

However!...the ferris wheel is the only interesting part in this photo here. The people waiting in line, the queue line barracades, and the extra pieces are uninteresting to me.

I would crop only the ferris wheel, and that will look quite cool :-)

I agree, making this a vertical crop makes for a stronger image... you can also try shooting vertically and leaving some space at the bottom if you want to show a bit of a line

I like the vertical crop much better! The abstract presentation of the ferris wheel draws you in and leads you to seeing the detail in the people. That's a nice surprise and gives definition and context to the image as a whole. Very cool.

PS>> I don't see your EXIF info, and I'd be very interested in that. I'd like to experiment with night/extended exposure pictures too.

This is really cool and I like the vertical crop as well. I have taken some carnival shots myself. It was a lot of fun and the results were fascinating!
