Water

I took this shot of the water main in my front yard after a rainstorm. Like to know of any comments on cropping, shot angle, DoF, colors and post processing.

Camera: Nikon D60
Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Aperture Priority
Post Processing: Aperture 3

not a bad shot. I like the DOF, but the colors look a bit oversaturated. Also, you might want to have gotten the whole word in the picture? not sure if that would be more effective or not though. Nice work !!

I agree, nice DOF and I would have got all of the word “water”.

Nice angle and shot.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually cropped it tight like this because I wanted to focus on the pool of water at the left edge of the pipe and the glistening of the "W" and "A", not on the word. I figured water is implied here anyway with the full "WAT" and the tease of the "E"
