Default Quaker Meeting House

I took this shot of a Quaker Meetinghouse and cemetary in White Clay Park in PA. What can I do better? I am shooting with a Sony A230 DSLR. This was taken in Auto Mode.

Don;t know why it won't show up on here.

Hi chuckman23,

This is a nice image. I think you did a good job. It’s a great subject.

For me, the interesting part of the image is the meeting house and the graveyard. The broken down stone wall, while also interesting, is a distraction for me. I would like to have seen the image taken from inside the wall so that the meeting house is more prominent. But that is just me.

Good job!

KG

Hi,
I nomally click on the photo on my photostream, then click "all sizes", choose any size smaller than 800 on the longest side, then copy and paste the html.

The image is well focused, no camera shake.
I would have taken the shot close to a tombstone to make it as my foreground object. The wall on the left side of the photo occupied too much space and takes my attention away from the house and cemetery.

Don't hesitate using the creative modes. Enjoy shooting!

Rick
