Default Mare Island Naval Shipyard - C&C please.

Mare island Naval shipyard is located in Vallejo, CA. It was Decommissioned in 1996 and is slowly being taken apart. I went there in the morning before sunrise and then went back right before and a little after sunset. I'd like to know what you guys think about my photos and how they could be improved.

I think the second picture would be an awesome shot if you could get on the other side of that fence(it's a bit blah, and distracting). And then up the contrast a bit. As for the first shot, it's a bit boring to me. Just my 2 cents though.
