Took this whilst out fishing the other day.
![]() Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S5600 Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/350) Aperture: f/3.5 Focal Length: 33.2 mm ISO Speed: 64 Exposure Bias: 0 EV I've altered it slightly to add a bit more colour to it. What I'd like to know is... Is the colours ok now or are they too over the top

I don't think the colors are over the top, but I do think it's need some cropping and straightening. Just my 2cents.

I personally would crop the top to just above that tallest big dark tree behind the house. Then I would crop on the right side of the picture (on the side with darker trees). I would crop just to the right of the bench/square thing to the right of the house, close to where that stick/tree pokes out of the top of the bush.
I think that will make the house less smack dab in the middle, yet still keeping the pretty water and the colorful hills. But I am very new and I may be all wrong. I don't think my crop idea gets close enough to the rule of thirds. And it does not do any straightening. |

I only boasted the colour saturation

What I said about cropping. Never mind. I was going crop happy that day. Sorry. I like the picture. The colors make the house really white and it stands out nicely, but not too much.
The yellow stuff on the hills looks too yellow to me. On the other hand, I haven't been out of the desert in so long I may not remember what a hillside of buttercups (or whatever) looks like. |
