Default How Do You Feel About This???

I am fairly new to this site and thought I'd see what effects my preferable style has on you!
Please be honest and say what you feel.
Thanks.

I really like the composition.

However, two things degrade the picture and cause me to want to move on.

The watermark is way too large, (and would be better left off), and distracts from the path. Then the picture becomes "just a bunch of leaves." Since the path is creating the draw of my eyes to the center, when you block it, my eyes lose interest.

The picture has way too much yellow for my taste. If this was PP, maybe you could tone it down a little?

(another thought, would be to go the opposite direction creating some soft pastels and I bet this would look like a beautiful watercolor)

To be honest, my eyes REALLY want to absorb the photograph, but the harshness causes me to blink.

Just my two cents,

Divot

Thank you for your comment DivotMaker. I will see what I can do with that watermark and maybe do some tinkering with the composition! Thanks again!

I love the shot, but I do agree that it feels slightly overdone. I often find myself lowering the saturation and vibrance of images, and liking the outcome. The pastel look is something I would be more inclined to like, but as said before, some will love the effects you have done in your photos.
