No, not too minimal - I like this.

What is displeasing to me, though, is the light pole is crooked in the photo. Transforming in photoshop should be able to correct this to make the pole vertical and parallel with the right side of the frame.

Also, I don't know if you were trying to go for a silhouette here, but you may want to try darkening the area with the bulb to make it all black. That might look really cool!

Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated.

I was lucky enough to see the cloud formation when walking back to mr car after taking some pictures in old Castle Rock where i live.

I did indeed think about making the light post straight, but i didn't want a "square" feeling to the picture. Having said that i do appeciate your time in responding

I am a reletive newcomer to photography, well i took it up some three months ago. I really like taking minimal pictures and though this one dosen't really tell a story as such i thought that i would share it for some good old feedback.
