I wanted to get a sense of NY changing from the daytime bustle to the nighttime hustle.

I wanted to get the nice reds and colors in it, but think i may have needed to use a longer exposure to get more fluid action of the cars.

Any suggestions on composition are always welcome! Also, any suggestions on what to do post production wise to make up for the boring sky, and how to do it? Ive never really worked with photo shop before!

I really like the angle A LOT. What i would suggest is to go back to that same spot, and take it again but only this time a little darker out and use a much longer exposure time. Trying to get the cars to ghost out of the photo would be an amazing touch to it. Let me know if you go and try that. I want to see the results!!

I love Joshua's ghost car idea with a longer exposure.

I think the composition is great - I love this whole photo. For post-processing, you may want to try a b/w high-contrast version here. I think that would look nice here. But this photo is fab either way :-)
