Could I have done better than this pic ?

I totally get the idea you were trying to go with here. The hut in the background is really distracting through the swing, however. Your eye goes straight to the door frame of the hut rather than to the swing. If you were to do this over or do some editing I would try and have the swing and tree in focus and get the rest of the distracting stuff out of the picture. =)

The swing and the door frame do not work. Couple of key issues - you're shooting in broad daylight - hence the harsh shadows. I recommend shooting at dawn or dusk for more even lighting and the absence of harsh shadows.

You've shot from a standing position - consider going low or high - it offers a completely different and more interesting perspective.

Composition wise, I would have used the seat of the swings as a foreground element at a perspective with the hut in the background.

Just a few thoughts.

thanks for the suggestions . I purposefully didnot focus on the swing alone as I wanted all the details in one frame. May be your opinion i will keep in mind from different perspective !

thanks for your suggestions .

yes it was very bright day hence could not avoid the harsh shadows...
On other aspects I will keep in mind for my next assignments!!
