I like how it draws your eye to the flower.
(I've never seen a flower like that before)
don't know what was timed better
the opening of the flowers or the lighting
well done,
don't go "chuckn" your photos away.

I like it!

I like the depth of field, colours, and the background is working well for me too.

Looks like there's a strand of hair/ string/ something on the right central part of the main flowers that you should "garden" off; watch for these things next time before shooting.

I don't have any tips to improve; I think with the light and subject you chose you've done a good job, nice one.

I was wondering why the colours of the leaves and flower seem a bit off
I realized that you said you use the polorzer and that may have effected the colour naturaly
so be sure to remove the polorizer as it does effect certian colour and light transmission
otherwise the photo would have been spot on
unless that was the colour of the leaves?
Oh I agree with the above try at diffrent angle if the pot can be rotated do rotate it to see what is the best point of View

Cheers

Inconceivable,
Thanks for you review, I think the light had a lot to do with the colour of the leaves and flower stem. I will remove the filter when I tak the picture over. The nice thing about this flower is it stays ln bloom for several day. I will take everyone advise and post with my results. Thanks again for the pointers
