Default Miami Beach Condo

While at the beach yesterday, I turned around and composed this shot. I only touched up the sky with capture NX2 (the easiest and best program for me since I know little about editing). Any comments are appreciated.............

This will seem strange coming from me because all I ever ask people for is MORE vibrant punchy colour but in this shot the sky blue is too vibrant and punchy for me and I suggest it needs to be toned down just a hint.

Also for contrast the left of building against the blank white cloud doesn't work for me; suggest play with contrast settings to see if you can get the building to fit in the scene more naturally (hard to explain it's a feeling I have that contrast changes could help).

Keep going!
Good first post!

I have to agree with inconceivable on all points. The sky and cloud are stealing the show in this photo. Overall the photo makes me think of a postcard from the 50s. I guess that means it has a retro look for me.
