Hi--
I'm new to the whole photography thing. I'm just in the process of self-teaching about the basics, and I don't have a super-amazing camera (I have a Nikon P80 that someone gave to me as a gift). Anyway, after getting some tips from this site, I've been able to take a few shots that I think are pretty good-- but I have no frame of reference, so I'd like some critique. I've gotten some good feedback from friends from this shot I took in my backyard, but a couple people have said it's a little boring. How do I make it more interesting? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks! Camera Model: Nikon P80 Tv (Shutter Speed): 1/500 Av (Aperture Value): 4.0 ISO Speed: 100 Flash: Off |

Don't forget to pay attention to your background. The background here doesn't really help to highlight the subject and is kind of distracting. If the whole shot was positioned in front of a dark background it would probably look stronger.
