You should add a specific question in this section.

But a nice shot. I like the sky. I would crop the foreground a little bit and the left side too, to preserve the aspect ratio.

not bad at all!! from your flickr photo @ the largest size the foreground is soft, i think you may have focused middle of the photo, this is not a problem but your Aperture is f/6.3 and i would suggest f11 or f16 for this kind of photo, you want to try and get front to back sharpness if you know what i mean. i would also use ISO 100.

other than that nice exposure.

cheers
Simon

ok ill bare that in mind should it always be f11 or f16 in this sort of light, ive been really struggling to choose the right F stop in landscapes...

Thanks!

well f/8 up to f/22, many len's are sharpest round the f/11 - f/16 and for the type of photo your taking you want front to back sharpness, you're after maximum depth of field so larger number (smaller hole) is what you need compared to the f/6.3 you used.

that's not to say you can't use a smaller f stop (larger hole) mind you, all depends on what you are shooting, but for those wide open shots that have no real foreground interest i find it better round the f/11 to f16.

all the best

Simon
