Default Building distortion?

Just trying to capture a little of the beauty that can be found around Seoul. My main question is whether or not the perspective distortion on the tall buildings has a large negative impact on the shot. That said, if you notice anything else or have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

Unfortunately I have no exact EXIF info to share, but I believe I was at 18mm, f/22 and 1.3secs ISO 200

The perspective, I think, is one of the best parts of this shot. The traffic sooming off into the vanishing point, with the buildings getting smaller along the way, is what catches me and draws me in. Then again, I'm a perspective junkie (I shoot ultrawide most of the time...)

As far as other critique, I do dislike how the building on the right is a bit cut off, while there's empty space on the left of the photo. I feel like there could be more balance.

Thanks for the input. I agree that it is pretty unbalanced. I was struggling between moving back to get the buildings in view and trying to get the intersection in the shot.

I'm always very conscious of the impact on perspective that tilting your wide angle lens skywards has.

Sometimes the distortion annoys me more than others, it depends on the extent. I don't think the distortion is too bad in your shot.

You can do a perspective correction in photoshop, but sometimes the end result with nicely parallel buildings looks stranger than the original to me.

I like how the lights outlines the buildings and draws this picture to life... I believe it is a nicely exposed shot.

This is a well-exposed shot indeed. Nice work on the lighting. I don't have issue with the perspective. My only concern is how the building at the right was awkwardly cut off. Just my two cents.

Cheers!
