Default Perspective

I went for a photo walk in Chicago and took over 500 pictures..after going through them these 2 stuck out to me and with no intentions had become one.....i can't remember for the life of me what it's called when you make 2 pictures one......but here it is...please be honest!! I can take it

PS first post for me

OH! Also...I didn't think of it initially, but in case you aren't familiar with the city of Chicago...the all black building in the back of the picture on the right, is The Sears Tower ( I don't care what they call it now....thats what it is to me ) And the the photo on the right is the view from the observation deck of the Sears Tower.

Do you happen to have the EXIF for the individual shots, I believe its required for this section.

I'm still new here so I may be talking bull.

Left picture:
Nice subject, its an intresting statue.

I have a couple of issues with it though. The left most tower seems to be suffereing a bit with Barrel distortion. I'd consider straightening it or cloning it out.

I'd also consider putting in a replacement sky. A bit of blue at the top could really lift the photograph.

Its a pity you didn't get the right hand side of the statue in frame. Also the ground looks a bit tilted in the photograph. I'm not sure if thats just an illusion with the perspective of the buildings though.

If you were focusing on just the statue a shallower DOF may have brought it more to the fore if that was possible I don't know. The buildings themselves look to me (using an uncalibrated monitor and also quite new so I may be talking bull) to be a little under exposed)

Right picture:
That's the same statue but from a different perspective? Unfortunately the statue isn't what stands out to me in the right hand picture, the view is dominated by the building behind the statue. I'm not really sure what you could have done to prevent that.

Presentation:
I think a little more room around the individual pictures may have helped Maybe consider a small border arround both images and between the two images.

(Think two photographs mounted on white card)

Hope you found this helpful.

(Personally I'd do some PP on the left most image and probably forget the right hand one, thats just me)

Regards,
