Hi all this is the path to get the lighthouse in Key Biscaine park in Miami, FL,U.S.A. a very nice place to visit.
Can you please critic composition & light? Thanks Art Note: It was taken with a traditional SLR canon Rebel 3000 and Kodak film Ultra 400, so there is no EXIF to share

I agree with the others who have left their input in that the colors are nice and the composition works well. Using the path as you did to lead the eye toward your subject is a great way to handle this and not putting the lighthouse dead center was also wise. The shadow is a bit of a distraction but not terrible. Unlike the previous suggestion, I would not have waited for the clouds to go away, but rather, would have waited for a cloud to begin to cover the sun. This would have evened out your light, left you with a great looking sky and kept the lighthouse from looking washed out. By the looks of the clouds you should not have had to wait long.
