Post May flower bloom in Feb!!

Happened to click this snap at Ellora caves in Feb.. Its a snap of the Gulmohar or the May flower tree in full bloom. Guess being in water has altered its season.

MayFlower bloom at Ellora.

I'm looking for your views on how this snap can be made better.
Is the green in the background distracting?
and is the water too bright?

Any other tips such as a different angle, more post proc, crop etc are most welcome.

Thanks,
Kartik.

These colours are AMAZING, very beautiful and a great capture. The green in backgrounds contrasts beautifully with the red/orange tones, so definitely would try to work with that combination as those colours works very well together.

It's a complex situation to photograph, so I think trying different angles is the way to go. To me the 'structure' (?) in the upper right corner is slightly distracting to the overal 'natural' feel of the shot, but not a major issue. It's hard to know what else is outside the frame, but perhaps moving slightly to the right and shooting with more greenery in the background?

Nice colour contrasts. Very powerful.
