Default Bloody Sunrise

Hey all.

Does this composition work for you? I really like the colors but it was really early so seems a bit dark. The earth really was pitch black.

I am also find that because my camera is not high tech that some pics are majorly reduced in quality/ size when I upload to flickr is this normal?

I like the color and I like the tree, but I'm overwhelmed by the huge black mass at the bottom; there's just too much of it,IMO.

Nice...but also agree...too much black at the bottom.

I like the colors and the tree too.

What I would try is to get a lower shooting position, so that more of the tree is seen.

I like the black, but as the others said, I would try to reduce the amount of it.

I pretty much agree with the comments above. The bottom is just too dark that it takes away the attention from the nice colors of the sky.

Cheers!

I personaly don't think it's to dark. I think it's to big. I like the strong contrast into complete black.

Looks like you have to find a right frame for the print.

I also think that a lower perspective would help, showing a bit more of the tree silhouette. Beautiful colors, though.

imho, image needs more of the tree and much less of the dark bottom part... crop it, maybe?

Love the colours. That frame works great huh?...Would be fab if that tree were taller.
