Default Lost My Subject

I want you to see the statue, but she's practically invisible... how can I make her the focus?
Also, what else would make it more interesting? Should I brighten? Saturate? Crop differently?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean the figure in front of the gazebo? If that's what you mean then crop reaally tight on it..
well you might have to reshoot and zoom in on the figure (since cropping that tight would mean losing so much pixels on the process) and I think the railings of the gazebo would make a nice background for it

im torn on the whole photo.... isee where you are going.. and what your subject wanted to be.. but, yes the colors are off and i dont know really what to offer... just seems a bit too drab

i would try to shoot on a brighter day and maybe use a polarizer to get some of the richness of the colors

You really need to get a lot closer to the subject, really fill the frame with it.
In this shot, there's way too much redundant space. For example - the reeds in the foreground and the trees/water on the left side. Also colour is quite drab, shooting on a nice sunny day at dusk would create a much nicer, warmer colour palette. Failing that, bump it in PP.
I think the idea is good and could make a nice shot, but you need to go and take it again!

^^I agree. In a frame that is filled with other elements I doubt you'll be successful trying to artificially draw attention to that teeny tiny statue using PP.

Agree with others you need to zoom in and have more of the statue in the picture.

Thanks so much everyone! I will definitely re-shoot. Thanks to your advice, I should be able to make this a much better image! Have a great day!
